Choose your ideal package

Most couples who order our products do so following consultation with a medical specialist so you have probably been advised what best suits your specific requirements. However, there are some options that you may also wish to consider to optimise clinical outcomes at the best value.

If you are undergoing IVF or a similar treatment most people adopt lifestyle changes to improve their chances of success. IVF can be very stressful: the uncertainty of the future, the considerable financial investment (whether provided privately or by a state or private provider) and the actual treatment can weigh heavily. Few couples have limitless opportunities to have a baby so it makes perfect sense to maximise the chances of success before and during the process. Thorough preparation by lifestyle changes and an excellent nutritional state can tip the balance in your favour. A relatively small investment of your time and money can give you the outcome you desire

What support is required by each partner?

Very few people have sufficient metabolites that control and promote egg & sperm production so many assume that multivitamins will help. However, many commercially available brands seem to have an almost endless list of ingredients to appeal to retail customers. Naturally, we think they can't do any harm so why not buy the one offering the widest array of ingredients for the lowest possible price? Sometimes less is more; it is far more important to take fewer of the right active ingredients at the right dose than lots of ingredients that can impair rather than enhance fertility. Progenyx contains only the nutrients required by your cellular systems to provide an optimum environment for gamete development, they have no direct activity themselves. In contrast, certain constituents of the sort of product on a supermarket shelf act indiscriminately. We all need vitamin C, for example, but too much can be harmful; it is classified as an antioxidant, which seems positive, but is an acid (ascorbic acid) and it will reduce compounds randomly, not just the oxidised cellular structures that need to be deoxidised (reduced). Many other constituents listed on the packs are cheap to produce and have names that we associate with health so we think we are helping ourselves. If a person is deficient in those ingredients, they may help but not by improving sperm and egg quality. To help improve fertility your one-carbon cycle needs to be fully functional which requires nutrients supplied by Progenyx plus vitamin D3 which is generally deficient in men and women who are struggling to conceive; if deficient in pregnant women there is a significantly increased chance of miscarriage. Progenyx tablets are a unique blend of metabolites that have a slow-release profile to improve bioavailability.

Can I benefit from Replenitol?

If you are a woman with PCOS the answer is almost certainly yes. If you are undergoing fertility treatment the data show improved outcomes for women who also receive Replenitol or similar treatments - both men and women. Most of the studies have been conducted among women with PCOS but there is also an emerging picture that suggests we excrete too much myo-inositol as we get older. Sperm and egg quality is improved by direct supplementation but potential parents may not need the same dose as women with PCOS who excrete 4-6x the normal amount of myo-inositol. We suggest a daily dose of 2g which is half the dose proven to be effective among women with PCOS. If you are taking Progenyx you can add it to your package at a significant discount. Our Replenitol website can be found here.

What do we need to prepare?

The adjacent table shows what each partner will need to prepare for pregnancy. Men typically need to commence treatment 4 months ahead of IVF or ICSI and women should start 3 months in advance. The difference is due to the time that sperm and eggs need to mature.

Continue treatment whilst trying to conceive

Treatment should be maintained for as long as you are trying to have a baby

Special discounts for couples also taking Replenitol

If the female partner has been diagnosed with PCOS she is likely to be advised to take a treatment such as Replenitol. As we age we tend to lose increasing amounts of a crucial metabolite, myo-inositol, particularly among individuals with a family history of PCOS, diabetes and metabolic syndrome. Women with PCOS excrete 4-6 times the normal amount which can lead to a marked deficiency. Other men and women may also excrete a little more than normal so could have a milder deficiency. Myo-inositol is required for normal production and maturation of both sperm and eggs, ensuring that both partners have adequate levels has been shown to help them conceive.

The proven effective dose is 4g per day but the treatment groups in those studies were mostly women with PCOS. People with milder deficiencies require less so we have supplementary packages of 2g per day that are available at a significant discount for couples buying Progenyx. This dose is not recommended for women with PCOS but it could further augment egg and sperm quality.

Couples where the woman does not have PCOS

Where the woman has been diagnosed with PCOS and also needs supplementation with Replenitol, we have further tailored packages to maximise value and provide you both with the correct doses of each treatment. The therapeutic dose has been calculated in studies involving tens of thousands of women globally. Whilst half of the proven effective dose for PCOS may still provide improvement, you should follow your doctor's instructions as many women with PCOS only enjoy the full benefits of treatment with the full dose of 4g daily.

Packages for couples where the woman also has PCOS

Replenitol can be added to your package for less than 40c per day. Its mode of action differs from Progenyx and provides a metabolite crucial for producing excellent sperm and eggs
